Dynamic Sort provides flexibility for users to sort the Source Data in place, or insert sorted data into a Destination Range.
Sort Source Data- Sorting source data is best applied when there are no formulas present within the source data. This would include data ranges that are fed by live data connections or selectors. Dynamic Sort will NOT sort the source data correctly when formulas are present.
Sort Destination Data- Sorting destination data is best applied when there are formulas within the Source Data, or when the dashboard designer wants to retain the original data structure of the Source Data.
