Creating a density map / heatmap with CMaps Analytics is supported as a standard visualization out of the box, and requires changing only 1 property.
Once you have added a CMaps Analytics points map to your Webi canvas…
STEP 1: Move your mouse to the outer edge of the visualization until the mouse cursor changes.
STEP 2: Right click. Click “Format Custom Element”
STEPÂ 3 Modify the style properties as follows:
a. Set Icon Layer Style to Heatmap
b. Set Point Clustering Calculation to None
c. Under “MapOptions“, turn off Show Cluster Icon.
Click OK, to see your new heatmap instead of the default clustered points chart.
