Batch Geocoding Instructions

The following describe how to use Centigon Solutions Batch Geocode manager

PREPARING YOUR DATA

The batch geocoder requires 1 row of headers and use standard names for the headers (not case sensitive in any order.

SUBPOSTCODE
COUNTRY

The file formats accepted are CSV or XLS

USING THE GEOCODE MANAGER

1. Login to the Centigon Solutions portal

2. Click on the Geocode Bundle

3. Select the Geocode Bundle that you procured. If you do not have an available bundle, please contact our sales support team: sales@centigonsolutions.com

4. The Geocode bundle screen will show you how many geocodes were procured and how many you have remaining for use.

5. Select “Upload File(s). A greeting message will welcome you and then prompt you to choose a file from your local file system.

6. If you cancel, you can always add or remove files using the following icons:

7. Once you have the files you would like to Geocode, select the upload button and the file(s) will upload and the upload manager will close. You file will now appear in the list.

8. At this point, you file is in our system and a support engineer has been notified to run it through our batch geocode system. Any errors or issues will be communicated. Any records not geocoded will NOT be counted against your procured geocodes. Upon completion, your file will be available in the customer portal and you will be notified via email.
