You install an add-on into Xcelsius and your canvas goes black. This means you are running a Flex4 component inside of a version of SAP Dashboards or Xcelsius V6.0.2 or earlier. You need to un-install your add-on and install a Flex2 version of the component. This video explains how to do it, and where to potentially get a Flash Player Debug version in case if you have problems un-installing.
Also make sure you have UAC disabled on your computer when installing and un-installing.
