GMaps Plugin supports shapefiles with polygons or polylines, polgygon Z and polyine Z. However, GMaps Plugin does not support shapefiles with points. Instead, GMaps Plugin allows you to import latitude/longitude data directly into the plugin through Xcelsius or BI queries. This is the preferred method, to reduce overhead and reliance of shapefiles for standard points of interest connected to your BI data.
To load points, use the address/lat, long property and define a range of comma separated latitude, longitude points.
