CMaps Plugin and GMaps Plugin customers now have additional control to name or assign license keys for tracking using our “department” field. This allows for an additional level of customization to make page view tracking and/or license key tracking and assignment easier for customers.
How it works:
When you install CMaps Plugin or GMaps Plugin onto a PC, it places a license and authentication key onto your system. When you publish a dashboard, that authentication key is embedded so as it communicates with TomTom or Google Maps it can track the page views using that key.
Now, within Centigon Solutions customer portal, upon selecting a license, you can edit a “department”, allowing you to associate a recognizable name to your license keys:
The end result is accessible when you view maps page views in our dashboard, you can now break down your usage by license or by department.
